Every day I listen to an album, usually new sometimes older, as I put together my weekly radio show, then list them here. I don’t do reviews as such, just a few remarks and a score out of 5. I don’t list albums I don’t enjoy.

Nva K’la by Ssewa Ssewa has the subtitle Groves from Kampala Uganda.
Very rhythmic, but light rhythms some traditional sounds – particularly in the percussion – modern bubbly African guitar, good bass and rock-ish drums. What sounds like a Zimbabwe Mbira (thumb piano). Deep voice – excellent deep harmonies.

I give it 4
