cesta Svobode 8a, 4260 Bled, Slovenia
This is a very stylish little café, mentioned at the very beginning of the book as one of the first you find when you walk from the bus to the lake. Again, tiny inside but a large terrace where you get views of the lake and castle. The natural shade from overhanging trees protects you from the sun on the hottest days. There is room for children to play in this family friendly place. Caffe Peglez’n is favoured by locals as well as visitors. Good coffee, some snacks. A good place for an early start in the morning. It’s usually open by 7:00 am when you can buy jam filled croissants (rogljicki).
