A couple of weeks ago Dawn and I were in mid-Ulster for a Friday Night/Saturday Morning. I had been at an EGSA conference last year at the Bank House Hotel and decided to stay there. While there were a few poor reviews on Trip Advisor, I was not convinced they were entirely representative. In short, we were treated well and had a good time.
It was a quick overnight mixing a BBQ on Friday evening and a business meeting on Saturday morning. I had asked for a ‘quiet’ room just in case there was a party of traffic noise from the front of the hotel. It was a large room (but at the rear of the hotel had nothing much to look at outside) but it was wonderfully peaceful as requested.
I found the staff to be friendly and down to earth – no superficial politeness, just helpful, courteous and to the point.
Quick overview
Room very comfortable – large – all you would expect.
Food – very good and a very large (if you want it) breakfast included.
Bar – lively, but not uncomfortably so.
Staff – very good.
Parking – Free – opposite the hotel.
I’d recommend.
