At this time (just before lunch) yesterday I was working on two computers; on one updating a web site, on the other editing a video. There was a conversation going on in the office which I was listening to and was scribbling more “to-dos”.
Multitasking – it’s what we do.
In the evening while watching TV, talking to Dawn and eating dinner I was flicking through the new edition of Wired. Scanning (rather than reading) Twenty-five Big Ideas for 2011, came to number 12: Unitasking “claiming back our physical and mental space from the grip of stimulus over load.”
That is a big idea. Oddly (well, not oddly, this is Wired magazine) there are web apps and sites suggested to help you reach this state of nirvana.
New Year resolution sorted.
